An ageing combi in a cramped store cupboard, with pipework running in every direction and no filter on the system. The customer wanted rid before it failed over winter.

Working in a tight space
Cupboard installs need planning. I checked the gas supply, the flue route and the clearances around the case before quoting, so there were no surprises on the day and the boiler can actually be serviced in future.
What I fitted
Old boiler out, new combi on a fresh set of pipework, isolation valves on each leg and a magnetic filter on the return. The system was flushed and dosed with inhibitor before the new boiler was fired.
Once commissioned I gas rated it, set the controls, ran through it with the customer and notified the install to Gas Safe with the warranty registered in their name.
