An annual service keeps your warranty valid and catches the small faults before they turn into a cold weekend with no heating. Cramlington is on my doorstep, so I can usually fit you in quickly.
I strip and clean the burner and heat exchanger where the manufacturer requires it, check the gas rate and combustion with an analyser, test all the safety devices, check the flue integrity, inspect the seals and check the system pressure and expansion vessel charge.
You get a written record of the readings, not just a sticker on the boiler. If something is borderline I show you the numbers and explain what it means rather than telling you it needs replacing.
The single most common thing I find on a Cramlington service is a flat expansion vessel. It is what makes a boiler lose pressure every few weeks and what makes people top the system up over and over. Recharging or replacing it is far cheaper than the repeated call outs.
Every job is different, so these are guide figures rather than a quote. You always get one fixed written price after I have seen the work.
Tell me what you need and I will come and look at it. You get the price before I start.
